Please be informed that Joy Beyond Vision Community (JBVC) is holding a “Volunteers Fun Night” for brothers and sisters on January 15, 2011!  All attendees will have a moment to experience some things about visually impairment. 

When & Where?

Date:    Saturday, January 15, 2011

Time:    5:30PM – 9:30PM

Place:   Broadway’s Conference Room, 155 Beecroft Rd, Toronto 

Who should attend?

This event is for those who are currently helping in JBVC; considering to get involve in JBVC; in the process of seeking God for the area to serve Him; looking for a ministry to support; having family member or friends who is VIP; needed to know how to serve VIP in the church; curious about VIP; just wanted to find out who we are; or having comment for JBVC, this is for you!  

That is right, if you say “yes” for any of the above, this program is especially for you!  Therefore, please reserve the time and come to the meeting!

What will happen?

On this night, brothers and sisters will have the opportunity to praise and worship; have a comfortable meal; hear how existing helpers feel about JBVC; a chance to share your comment; find out what is going on in 2011; become a member of JBVC; and give thanks to our Lord Jesus Christ!

As mentioned, this is a “Fun Night”, MOST or ALL of the above activities will be done IN THE DARK!!!

Cost to attend

There will be a small fee of $7.00 for each person.  The money will help to cover the cost of the conference room rental, food, drink, materials for this event.

How can I join?

Safety is always our first priority, plus we would like every one to have fun in this evening, we are choosing to host a small group of people.  Please notify Pastor Danny Leung (cell: 416.725.3269 or email: danny.leung@careministries.ca) if you wish to attend.  All registration must be done before January 10, 2011.

陳競如傳道

“你們要稱謝耶和華，因祂本為善；他的慈愛永遠長存！”（詩篇 107：1）

感謝天父的恩惠與保守，福愛傳道社將會在今年六月紀念“廿載恩典廿載情”的服事！

回望二十年所行的路，每一步都仰望著天父親自的恩賜供應，無所缺乏。回想二十年所作之工，也是時刻仰望天父的陪伴與保守，不單止服事的主內兄姊蒙主看顧，被服事的人也得着主的救恩拯救，將他們從重重黑暗當中釋放出來。

自1990年成立以來直至2004年，福愛傳道社專以監獄探訪、關懷囚友，並將福音帶給他們為主要事工。此事工發展至今，我們的同工和義工每週數次監獄探訪的腳蹤現已遍及安大略省多倫多市內及周邊城市的多處拘留所及監獄。

在2004年，天父感動了一位經常參與監獄探訪的傷健弟兄與福愛傳道社分享神放在他心中要向傷健朋友關懷和傳福音的負擔。福愛傳道社的傷健人士福音探訪事工從此開始了。我們的團隊所到之處包括醫院，療養院，復康院，甚至探訪對象的家中。我們願意帶著關懷與安慰，陪伴病患臥床或受困在輪椅的朋友及他們的家人走這漫漫長路，透過建立友誼和關心，將救恩所帶來的盼望與他們分享。

2005年底，一位本身是視障人士的弟兄對視障朋友能聽聞福音得救滿有負擔。他接觸了我們的機構，與我們分享他心中的意念和催逼，視障人士福音事工於2006年一月開始籌備，二月正式開始第一次的聚會，轉眼間又經歷了天父足足五年的供應和使用。聚會次數由起初的每兩月一次，到現今增加到每月一次，此外並且有電話問候、電話輔導及電話查經等活動。在夏季的時候，我們更盡量安排郊遊、垂釣等活動，以期幫助視障朋友也能一同過一些集體戶外生活。這事工的同工也蒙神的恩待，這些年間在神學院中進修畢業。

2006年可以說是福愛傳道社以往日子中忙碌的一年，在視障人士事工開展不久之後，天父將另一更具挑戰性的事工再次透過有負擔的過來人擺在我們面前，這就是藉耶穌基督的福音幫助病態賭徒戒除賭癮的事工。這些年來，無論在平靜安穩中，或在驚濤駭浪里，我們都保持一個信念，這一場爭戰非靠主的保守不可，要能使在黑暗中的人見光明，心中黑暗更讓光明照亮，乃唯有靠聖靈的引導、同在與幫助，我們才會見到神將腐朽轉為完全的心靈醫治，又藉此使破碎的人際關係、家庭生活有和好的轉機。

2009年下半年，神將華人中性工作行業女子的福音需要重重地放在一位姊妹心上，而這姊妹在進行各方面的探索中尋找到我們機構，雙方就在一個完全摸索階段進入了擔負這事工的承諾中。天父也很快就讓姊妹聯絡上主流社會與這方面有關的官方及福音機構，而事工的需要就接踵而來，應接不暇。亦因此證明了天父的指引和差遣是絕對無誤的！

今天，福愛傳道社的董事、同工和義工帶着興奮又謙恭的心來到以祂的慈愛和憐憫待我們的神面前，又在世人當中，為了這二十年神的豐富預備及供應感謝祂，又為着祂賜下智慧、能力及指引幫助我們在事工上有進展和發展歸榮耀給祂，願祂得着當得的感謝和頌讚！又願神繼續使用福愛傳道社將祂的救恩帶給被遺忘的“弱細”社群，讓人人都有聽福音、信福音的機會。阿們！
